Ventura have introduced a new Bike Pack for their unique luggage system that offers similar carrying capacity and stability to most medium-size top boxes, but is lighter and more versatile, both on and off the bike. Part of the updated Ventus collection of semi-rigid tail packs, the BORA has many features, including:
- 31-litre capacity
- Water resistant zippers
- Fast release buckles for easy removal from bike
- Padded carry handle
- Lined interior
Named after the wind that blows into the Adriatic sea, the BORA is constructed from rugged 1680-denier ballistic nylon fabric, which is PVC-laminated for water resistance and then moulded to shape, so it won’t sag or flap around like traditional soft tail packs. This semi-rigid construction, combined with a ‘clam shell’ opening, makes it easy to pack and unpack, and with a total carrying capacity of 31 litres riders can take plenty along for the journey.
Like all Ventura Packs, the Bora attaches and detaches quickly and easily to the bike with the NZ company’s lightweight Pack-Rack system, and is secured with a quick-release buckle-strap.
Should extra capacity be needed, two Bora packs can be zipped together giving 62 litres of storage, or if the rider prefers, a Bora and Mistral pack (also part of the Ventus range) can be joined to provide a whopping 78 litres.
It’s also easy to handle off the bike, thanks to a built in padded carry handle, and with generously sized pull-tags on all the zippers, it is easy to gain access to the contents of the bag, even with cold, gloved hands.
