Simply lay the specially formulated wet wipe on the visor and allow to soak for 30-60 seconds, then polish off with the dry wipe that’s included with it, for a clear, streak-free and transparent finish.

Produced by Germany’s best-selling brand of motorcycle cleaner, using the same surfactant technology, Sdoc100 visor wipes are safe and convenient to use on all types of visor.

Packed in a pocket-sized sealed pouch, Sdoc100 visor wipes are easy to carry in a jacket, so they are close to hand when needed, and there’s no danger of leakage.

One wipe should be sufficient to clean visor, screen and headlight.

Sdoc100 Visor wipes sell in packs of 10 for £9.50.

Tailor-made for the popular Suzuki dual sport machine, and engineered for a perfect fit and durability, the new range helps add value and versatility to the already accomplished v-twin.

Luggage:

Crucial for trips of any length is the ability to carry kit, so SW Motech developed a complete Trax Evo luggage system for the V-Strom. Engineered from corrosion-resistant 1.5mm thick AlMg3 grade alloy, and with fibre-reinforced hinges, Trax cases are super tough. The lids have a waterproof sealing profile and are fitted with tie-down points for extra carrying capacity. Side cases are produced in 37- and 45-litre versions and weigh just 3.9 and 4.5kg respectively. A matching 38-litre top case is also available. The quick-lock side carriers can be removed in seconds, restoring the bike to its original appearance. Prices start at £84.91 for the Alu-Rack; Quick Lock carriers are £207.65 (pair) and a 37-litre side case sells for £223.09.

Ergonomics:

Helping to keep the rider comfortable and focused on enjoying the journey are the Bar Risers (£37.73) and Comfort Footrest Kit (£113.24). Available in two sizes, the bar risers can lift the bars from 20-25mm, enabling riders to tailor their position for long days in the saddle and helping to combat wrist ache and fatigue. The Comfort Footrests can also be set in two positions and feature a rubber insert to help reduce the effects of vibration as well as having a profiled surface for firmer footing when the going gets rough. A Centre Stand kit (£151.01) helps with cleaning, maintenance and parking too.

Protection:

SW Motech’s Engine Guard (£188.72) offers protection for the V-Strom’s exposed oil filter and starter – crucial if planning any off road excursions – while the lightweight yet durable Crash Bars (£141.55) help prevent damage in the event of a low-speed tumble. They’re powder coated to help resist corrosion and are designed to fit neatly without adding excess bulk or width.

Other accessories include QUICK-LOCK Tank Mount Adaptors and Tank Bags for added carrying capability, a HAWK Light Mount set and Mirror Extenders for added safety.

Call Motohaus Powersports on 01256 704909 or visit motohaus.com for details.

“This little can makes the wonder of SDoc products a mobile feast” writes Marc Abbott about Sdoc100 White Chain Spray in Motor Cycle News.

“The size of it is such that it easily stows away under your seat, in a pocket, the deepest recess of a rucksack or tankbag… wherever there’s room for little else, in fact. The spray itself seems to resist spinning off on to your rear wheel, chainguard and undertray pretty well, and also gives the impression of deep penetration. It finally breaks the barrier of SDoc100 for most riders, too – the price. Often it can be hard to justify the extra expense for the firm’s (albeit premium quality) product, but for just over a fiver you’re laughing with this chain spray. This 75ml container can also be refilled from a larger, 300ml container, available separately”.

“We set about trying it on some black surfaces on a couple of bikes. Application is simplicity itself just spray it onto the surface requiring the treatment and “Hey Presto” Black & Shine” does its work.

We tried it on some faded black engine casings and the effect was almost instantaneous, transforming the dull black surface to its original high gloss finish.

Next we tried it on some faded black plastic, in fact the rear mud guard on a BMW R 1200 GS, which had become very dull over time. The same instantaneous result, a quick spray and the mudguard was looking as good as new.

We think this new product from SDoc 100 does exactly what it claims to do. It’s simple in use and very effective. We are sure it will find many delighted users who will be able to use it to restore the faded appearance of the black parts of their motorcycles with the minimum of fuss and time.

ACF-50 has been selected by Surrey’s famous Brooklands Museum as corrosion prevention treatment for the airframes on their iconic and supersonic Concorde and record-breaking VC10 airliners.

Both airframes have suffered from an appreciable amount of corrosion; Concorde on account of having been dismantled to get it on to the site and the VC10 because of dissimilar metals used for fastenings, something many motorcyclists will be familiar with. Like many modern motorcycles, particularly ones with fairings, aircraft have a tendency to corrode ‘under the skin’. By treating vulnerable parts with ACF-50 owners no longer need worry about components that are ‘out-of-sight and out-of-mind’.

Prices for ACF-50 start at £14.40 including VAT for a 360g spray can. ACF-50 is distributed to the motorcycle market by Motohaus, telephone 01256 704909, www.motohaus.com.

I have always found Bluetooth a bit “smoke and mirrors”, as there is nothing to see, but I am pleased to say this was easy to pair up with either my phone, satnav or another Interphone.”

SDoc100 Technical Fabric Wash and Textile Waterproofing Agent are cost-effective and easy ways to help restore the performance of waterproof and breathable clothing. The Fabric Wash cleans and helps maintain the breathability of technical membranes, while the Textile Waterproofing Agent helps reviltalise water resistance. Bought together the Wash and Proofer cost less than £30 – much cheaper than replacing a tired garment.

Most waterproof and breathable fabrics, like GORE-TEX®, are designed with two active layers, which work together to help keep the wearer dry. The inner layer is designed with pores, just like skin. Each pore is approximately 1/20,000 the size of a water droplet, making it impenetrable to water but allowing vapour to pass through. The outer layer is also treated with a water repellent, which causes rain to ‘bead-up’ and roll off instead of being absorbed.

Over time, dirt and perspiration blocks the pores of the inner layer, reducing its breathability and allowing the build-up of moisture inside the shell. In addition, regular wear and tear, and exposure to dirt, harsh detergents, and other impurities wears the water repellent layer, reducing the beading effect and allowing ‘wet-out’ – saturation of the outer fabric.

SDoc100’s two-stage treatment helps restore both breathability and waterproofing. The Technical Fabric Wash is formulated to remove dirt and contaminants from the inner layer’s pores, helping to restore breathability. It’s developed to be tough on dirt, but mild on fabrics, so it won’t damage the outer repellency treatment like some ‘normal’ detergents can.

It also helps prepare the fabric for SDoc100 Textile Waterproofing Agent. Quick and easy to apply, it does what it says on the tin; helping to re-proof garments that have lost their water resistance or even waterproof those that never had it. It also helps protect against UV bleaching

SDoc100 Technical Fabric Wash, and Textile Waterproofing Agent are safe and suitable to use on most technical climate membranes, and are available at an RRP of £12.99 and £15.34 (including VAT) respectively.

For details on the complete range of SDoc100 motorcycle care products, call 01256 704909 or visit sdoc100.co.uk.

Featuring a two-stage heating function, they’re designed to bring hands up to a comfortable temperature quickly and deliver continual warmth throughout the ride. Simple to fit and supplied with specific instructions covering Honda, Kawasaki , Suzuki & Yamaha wiring, Daytona heated grips cost considerably less than most OEM versions* at just £59.99 including VAT.

Exposing the extremities to cold is not only uncomfortable, it can affect a rider’s ability to control the machine. Low temperatures can make muscles less responsive to signals from the nervous system, and can reduce dexterity. Hands and fingers are particularly at risk as there are no major muscles in the area to produce heat and the body also naturally favours the internal organs when cold, reducing blood flow to the extremities.

Daytona Heated Grips are designed to keep hands warm throughout the journey and have a special ‘boost’ function, so when switched on they warm up quickly. Once up to temperature, the second setting provides continual warmth, helping to maintain comfort and dexterity. The grips also reduce the need for bulky, insulated gloves which can also impair control and feel – crucial when road conditions require careful operation of the throttle, clutch and front brake.

Produced using a dual layer rubber grip that has a ‘soft feel’ for comfort and control and designed to resist cracking and perishing, both the grips and electrical components are manufactured to withstand the effects of low temperatures and moisture. Daytona grips require just 14W to operate in the ‘on’ position, much less than a standard 55W halogen headlight bulb, and even in the Start position consume just 57W.

Suitable for most machines with 7/8 inch handlebars, Daytona Heated Grips come complete with everything needed to install, and have open ends to accommodate bar ends where required.

Less than half the price of OEM grip sets from motorcycle manufacturers, they represent a serious value-for-money addition for the winter season at just £59.99 including VAT.

For further information, contact Motohaus Powersports on 01256 704909 or visit: motohaus.com.

* For example Honda Transalp heated grips £165.44, Suzuki Burgman 400 £260.99, Yamaha Super Tenere £269.99 (manufacturer’s listed retail price).
